Week 2 (Introduction and Painting Reflection)
My name is Kenadie Dawson. I am majoring in instrumental music education. My main instrument is the french horn. I do also dabble with trumpet here and there. I am in North Central’s Concert Winds and their Athletic Bands. Music has been a main part of my life for a very long time. I grew to love band and the people. So much so that I want create that fun environment for others. I have always liked teaching, and so music is the added plus. Music and band in general really helped me through a negative time in my life. It’s my goal to help kids in a positive manner through the rewarding environment of band. Other than playing my instrument, I really enjoy nature and hiking. Being surrounded by trees is just a wonderful feeling that allows me to be free. I like to go on a lot of walks alone in forests.
